October xxxx....Poor Sam, he is being returned to rescue...His adopting family realized with the kids school activities -- they don't have much time for him.. He is close to 1 year old (still a pup) ... VERY sweet and playful boy July xxxx Sam is a friendly, happy youngster -- Dogworks accepted both Sam and his sister into rescue from an over crowded rural dog shelter. At 8-9 mos old, weighing 45 lb, we are not sure of the breed mix...Maybe - mixed with Pointer, Retriever or Dalmatian and something else = unsure! Both have soft gorgeous mostly white coats...and are still growing. Guessing 55-60 lb as adults. Sam has a docked tail -- due to: found wounded when he was picked up as a stray. Very sweet, loves attention and to be with people. Should be easy to train since both are receptive to love, guidance and want to please.. Doing well on leash walking.. Crate trained. Has been wonderful with foster homes children and dog. Cats unknown. Nice cuddly boy who responds well and loves to play.. Adoption fee includes: exam, neuter, vaccine update, heartworm check and G.I. de-worming. Adoption fee $160.
