Nov xxxx Now 4 1/2 yrs old~~ Newman should live well on a farm with a family spending time playing fetch with him. If you throw the ball -- Newman will bring it back -- over and over again... Likes to play chase & tug. Needs placement as "ONLY" dog in a home. He can be picky on his doggy friends BUT is wonderful with people including kids...Likes to please and spend time with those showing him attention. Even rolls over and allows belly rubs!! Adoption fee reduced = $100...We'd be glad to set up a personal meeting. Newman does not "show well" at Meet & Greet adoption events.....he gets barky while being crated at a pet store event, especially when people walk by with their own dogs. Generally not a demanding boy -- but he does need exercise & attention. Newman is mostly Labrador Retriever possibly mixed with Dalmatian or English Pointer. Lab Retriever length coat, big boy at 70 pounds. Now 3 years old and has spent most his life in rescue..... Good with kids and adults. Cats we're unsure of - if they run he may chase. Housebroke, needs continued work on leash walking - he is strong, travels well in van. Takes direction well. Neutered, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. = He's been patiently waiting & waiting.....
