Hi! My name is Houdini and I love you! Im a Labrador mix and Im around 4 years old. My only goals are to be your friend and to make you proud of me. Im smart and Im house-trained. I know how to sit, stay, shake, and walk on a leash. Id love to be a protector for you, but if you just want me to lay next to the couch with you, thats fine with me. I am not aggressive, and I love other people and other dogs. I am loving, trusting and patient. As a Labrador, I like working and having something to do. I really enjoy running around and playing. While Im in that mood, Im a little unaware of my own strength, so if there are little kids walking around then make sure you settle me down. If you leave me home alone for a few hours and theres food within my reach on the kitchen counter, the temptation might be too much for me at times. I know its wrong to eat your loaf of bread and your pound cake, but sometimes I just cant help myself! I do feel bad afterwards though. Also, if Im in the back yard by myself and I see a cute dog walking by, I might jump over your fence so I can go say hi and then come back home. But Im very easy to train, so if you spend a little time with me then Ill be however you want me to be. Among my favorite things to do are spending time outside, playing with other dogs, playing tug-of-war with a rope, and snuggling on the couch. Im hoping to land in a happy home and become a big part of your family for the rest of my days!
